Micah Byars, Iowa State Men’s Basketball Director of Operations, strongly believes in equipping his Cyclones with all the information they could possibly need in one place to get through their day successfully as student-athletes.

Viewed as a reliable source for his student-athletes, Byars dedicates his role to serving his team effectively and efficiently with an infectious positive attitude. He starts each week by thoroughly planning out the team’s schedule with athletic and academic events and then reviewing with Head Coach T.J. Otzelberger.

Favorite Features: The Hub Calendar and Message Blasts
Byars called the Hub calendar ‘invaluable’ for his team, especially during the post-season. With a heavy travel schedule, changes are inevitable, so the message blast feature saves Byars time and gets his athletes accurate information immediately.
“[Hub] allows us to stay connected and organize if we need to change something on the fly. If we have an instance where we have maybe a flight change or a bus issue, we can disperse information to everybody at one time.”
