Southeastern Conference Sets a New Standard of Sports Medicine with Teamworks

Teamworks is thrilled to announce an agreement with the Southeastern Conference, setting a new standard in collegiate sports medicine. This agreement will standardize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Athlete Management Systems (AMS) on the Teamworks Performance platform, creating an shared infrastructure to support the health and well-being for student-athletes across all sixteen SEC schools.

“The agreement with Teamworks is a proactive step in enhancing the health support of SEC student-athletes, “ said Charlie Hussey, Chief Operating Officer of the SEC.  “By working together to build a shared EMR and AMS system, we can leverage the value of the Teamworks platform throughout the SEC.”

The Teamworks platform will not only enable schools to more seamlessly coordinate care amongst athletes, but it will also allow for enhanced insights into injury management and performance on an individual and conference-wide platform. Teamworks is honored to work side-by-side with the SEC to enhance the well-being of student-athletes.
