DePaul Athletics announced today an extension and expansion of its multiyear partnership with Teamworks. The digital software partnership, first instituted in March 2021, centralizes all student-athlete functions, across all 15 sports programs”including rosters, communications, scheduling, travel, and academic monitoring. This expansion includes the launch of Teamwork’s Notemeal, Communities, Retain, Pathways, and ARMS products within DePaul Athletics. With this expanded product set, DePaul will become an Elite partner of Teamworks, a recognition achieved by schools who invest in multiple products within Teamworks’ Operating System for Sports.

“Our expanded partnership with Teamworks allows us to continue to enhance the student-athlete experience through technology that modernizes our operations, centralizes activities, and eliminates inefficiencies,” said Vice President/Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy. “Being a student-athlete is incredibly complex today. Teamworks, through its full suite of products, simplifies the experience for our student-athletes and supports them with several process efficiencies.”

“We’re excited to continue to support DePaul Athletics and expand their best-in-class technology offerings to all their teams within the athletic department,” said Zach Maurides, Teamworks CEO. “Being an Elite partner highlights DePaul’s commitment to its student-athletes, empowering them to receive the best sports technology to support their day-to-day athletically and academically.”

Notemeal is an industry-leading performance nutrition platform utilized by organizations ranging from the Indianapolis Colts to U.S. Special Operations Command. The platform elevates performance by empowering student-athletes to make mindful fuel choices and meet their nutritional goals through meal tracking. Enhanced nutrition coaching through the Notemeal application is made possible by DePaul Athletics’ Sports Nutritionist (RDN), Hailey Lacy, who was hired in Sept. 2022 to support student-athlete nutrition programming and education.

Communities will serve as the new, centralized home for DePaul Athletics’ alumni communications. The application offers a unique space for alumni to bond with their program, and each other, by giving access to exclusive content, human connections, and professional opportunities. More information about this new engagement platform will be provided to DePaul Athletics alumni later this fall.

Retain will expand the department’s existing academic monitoring system within Teamworks and increase efficiencies within DePaul’s Athletics’ Academic Advising (AAA) unit. Retain integrates seamlessly with DePaul University’s class scheduling software to allow AAA staff to provide personalized support to student-athletes, ensuring they maintain progress toward their desired degree program, and receive the academic support necessary to maintain their standing as both a student and an athlete.

Pathways, a comprehensive student development and community service platform, will also be added to DePaul’s technology offering, helping to provide their student-athletes with the support they need to succeed in their lives after graduation.

ARMS will become the athletics department’s centralized hub for recruiting and NCAA compliance monitoring. ARMS provides the most robust suite of recruiting tools available in the collegiate space today. The platform will allow DePaul’s NCAA Compliance staff to monitor and manage the recruiting process more efficiently.
