“If you’re not using technology, you’re going to get left behind because that’s where all the student-athletes spend their time,” says Jessica Huntley, the newest addition to the Teamworks team.

Huntley, a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience as a conference commissioner, has joined Teamworks as a Senior Business Development Executive, bringing her expertise to the Division II and III space.

Background and Expertise in the Market

Huntley most recently served as the Commissioner of the Atlantic East Conference, a Division III conference she helped found in 2018. During her tenure, she was instrumental in building the conference from the ground up, leading it to notable successes, including a national championship in men’s lacrosse with Cabrini University, and helped launch the first NCAA conference to add women’s flag football as a varsity sport. Prior to her role at Atlantic East, Huntley served as the Assistant Executive Director at the Centennial Conference, also in Division III. Her extensive experience in conference management has provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within collegiate athletics.

Why Jessica Joined Teamworks

Reflecting on her decision to join Teamworks, Huntley shared, “I was first introduced to Teamworks in 2023 and was immediately impressed by the company’s vision and solutions. The opportunity to bring this innovative technology to Division II and III institutions, where resources are often more limited, is something I’m truly passionate about. Teamworks is all about enhancing the student-athlete experience, and I want to ensure that every athlete, regardless of division, has access to the same top-notch tools and streamlined communication that their Division I counterparts enjoy.”

Jessica’s Perspective on Conference-Wide Partnerships

Huntley’s experience as a commissioner has given her unique insights into the potential benefits of technology for smaller institutions. With recent conference-wide partnerships in the Great American Conference (GAC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC), and Peach Belt Conference, Huntley sees a significant opportunity to expand similar collaborations across Division II and III. “When all members of a conference are using the same tools, it not only streamlines communication but also fosters a unified approach across the entire conference,” Huntley explained.

A Message to Administrators & Commissioners

As she steps into her new role at Teamworks, Huntley has a clear message for administrators and commissioners who may be hesitant about adopting new technology: “Technology is where the future of athletics lies. If you’re not embracing it, you’re missing out on opportunities to enhance efficiency and better serve your student-athletes. Teamworks provides a one-stop-shop where everything is centralized, making it easier for departments to function smoothly and effectively.”

An Exciting Path Forward

Beyond her excitement for the technology itself, Huntley is eager to be part of Teamworks’ dynamic and mission-driven culture. “From the moment I was introduced to Teamworks, I could feel the energy and passion behind the company. Now, after just a short time on board, it’s clear that everyone here is committed to the same goal of improving the collegiate athletic experience. It’s an amazing organization, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Jessica Huntley’s position signals a continued commitment from Teamworks to support and innovate within Division II and III athletics. With her extensive background and passion for enhancing the student-athlete experience, Huntley is positioned to make a significant impact as she helps bring Teamworks’ full suite of products to more institutions across the country.
