Teamworks is excited to announce the addition of Brad Teague, the former Athletic Director at the University of Central Arkansas, as our new Senior Business Development Executive. With over two decades of experience in collegiate athletics, Brad’s expertise and passion make him a perfect fit to help us continue expanding into the Division One FCS/FBS territory.
A Legacy of Leadership and Innovation
Brad Teague’s journey in collegiate athletics began at Delta State University, where he played baseball and later worked in the development office. He then spent seven years at Ole Miss before returning to Delta State as Director of Athletics at just 32 years old. Brad eventually took the reins at the University of Central Arkansas, where he served as Athletic Director for 17 years. Throughout his career, Brad has been a dedicated advocate for student-athletes, focusing on providing them with the best opportunities and experiences.
A Super-User Turned Advocate
Brad’s experience with Teamworks began during his tenure at Central Arkansas. As an early adopter and enthusiastic end user, Brad recognized the immense value Teamworks elite brought to his department. He became a super-user, personally ensuring that the entire department fully utilized the suite of products. Brad leveraged the power of Teamworks Hub across the athletic department, ensuring collaboration and student-athlete success became paramount to the culture at Central Arkansas.
“It was important to me that everyone felt the same way I did about Teamworks,” Brad recalls. His hands-on approach included adding and activating profiles, sending out messages, and championing the platform’s benefits.
Transformative Impact on Student-Athletes
Under Brad’s leadership, Central Arkansas onboarded four Teamworks products: Hub, Academics (formerly Retain), Compliance + Recruiting (formerly ARMS), and Influencer. Each addition was driven by a desire to enhance the student-athlete experience. “Teamworks reduced stress, improved efficiency, and provided better organization,” says Brad. These tools not only streamlined operations but also allowed the department to do more with less, significantly improving the overall experience for his staff.
