Roadrunners to work with Teamworks to improve communication with UTSA student-athletes.
SAN ANTONIO, TX “ [Monday, December 20, 2021] “ UTSA Athletics has partnered with Teamworks, an industry-leading operating system for internally communicating with student-athletes, it was announced on Monday.
The Roadrunners have expanded their partnership with Teamworks to include all 17 sports as part of an expansive, department-wide initiative to increase the efficiency of communication and information sharing for its student-athletes and staff. It will assist in instilling seamless communications and scheduling transparency between coaches, staff and student-athletes.
It is important for us to provide seamless communication options for our student-athletes and coaches and our partnership with Teamworks ensures that we are creating an efficient team communication experience, UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Lisa Campos said. Several of our programs have used Teamworks in the past, with great effectiveness, and this department-wide initiative allows us to centralize our communication tools for all 17 sports. The last two years have reinforced the need to prioritize internal communication strategies in a digital environment and we are excited about the impact this partnership will have on our student-athlete experience.
UTSA will join a bevy of athletics programs around the world that utilize Teamworks in their internal communication including hundreds of collegiate athletics programs, teams in the Premier League, Premiership Rugby, NFL, MLB, NBA and MLS organizations.
