Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, is excited to announce its expanded partnership with the University of Houston Athletics as the Cougars adopt the Teamworks General Manager (GM) platform, the industry’s leading solution for revenue sharing management.
The University of Houston has already been a valued partner of Teamworks, leveraging six other Teamworks products to enhance its athletic operations. The addition of Teamworks General Manager demonstrates UH’s commitment to further integrating cutting-edge technology into its programs.
The General Manager platform will enhance UH’s athletic operations by streamlining budget management and enabling future planning. By consolidating these critical functions, the platform reduces administrative complexity, fosters collaboration across departments, and frees up time for coaches, staff, and athletes. Moreover, the platform’s mock roster scenario builder and budgeting analysis capabilities offer administrators the ability to anticipate future needs with confidence, reducing stress and enabling more strategic decision-making.
“In this new era of college athletics, innovation is key, and Teamworks GM provides us with a powerful tool to streamline budget management, plan for the future, and focus on creating the best possible experience for our student-athletes,” Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Eddie Nuñez said. “By adding this platform to our tool belt, we’re equipping our department with a competitive edge that aligns with our commitment to excellence on and off the field.”
In addition, Houston’s use of Teamworks HUB will seamlessly integrate roster information into the General Manager platform, creating a unified system for managing critical data. This seamless integration eliminates redundant data entry, ensures accuracy, and highlights the value of Teamworks’ interconnected ecosystem. By combining these tools, Houston gains an operational edge, allowing staff to focus on supporting their student-athletes and achieving success in the BIG 12.
“The University of Houston has a proud history of athletic and academic achievement,” said Wes French, Director and GM of Teamworks General Manager. “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with UH as they take their operations to the next level, empowering their student-athletes and staff to achieve even greater success.”
With this partnership, UH joins a prestigious network of universities leveraging the Teamworks General Manager platform to drive operational efficiency and enhance the student-athlete experience.
