SCR Altach has taken a major step forward in modernising its internal operations by becoming the first Austrian Bundesliga club to adopt Teamworks Hub. With this move, the club aims to streamline communication, improve visibility across scheduling and training, and enhance collaboration throughout its first team operations.
The adoption of Teamworks Hub marks a shift toward greater transparency, reliability, and structure, ensuring everyone involved is well-informed and aligned on key activities.
“We previously used a different system that quickly hit its limits,” explains Oliver Jakob, Team Manager at SCR Altach. “Customising player data was nearly impossible. Important details like passport or visa information for international players were scattered across shared drives or Excel sheets. Mobile access and overall usability were also major pain points.”
With Teamworks Hub, the club now enjoys a far more flexible and user-friendly platform.
“The calendar functions give us real clarity,” Oliver continues. “I can communicate updates in real time, and we’ve eliminated the confusion between personal and professional messaging… everything is centralised and structured.”
The platform’s integrated planning tools enable coaches and staff to manage both weekly and monthly calendars with ease, while ensuring key logistics, like match day travel and hotel assignments, are clearly organised. Last-minute changes are shared instantly, maintaining continuity and minimising disruption.
A standout feature: push notifications and customisable reminders that keep players and staff on track, especially during busy periods.
“That level of flexibility makes a huge difference when time is tight,” says Oliver..
Noah Tiefel, Account Executive at Teamworks, emphasises the broader value:
“Our goal was to provide Oliver with a tool that helps him make the most of his time while establishing clear communication standards for players and staff. We’re seeing a strong shift across Europe toward centralised systems that drive alignment and accountability.”
Teamworks Hub is already trusted by many of the world’s leading clubs, including Real Madrid, PSV Eindhoven, Werder Bremen, FC Porto, and 18 of 20 Premier League teams. Its adoption by SCR Altach signals a growing momentum toward elite performance and operational excellence in European football.
