In our recent webinar, we pulled back the curtain on how Teamworks is rethinking human performance technology by bringing together what has traditionally been fragmented: programming, data, communication, and athlete experience.
This webinar spotlighted Teamworks S&C as a key part of that ecosystem – showing how connected workflows and integrated data help coaches go beyond programming and start driving performance.
Built With Coaches, Not Just for Them
One of the defining themes of the webinar was how Teamworks S&C came to life.
We didn’t build the solution in a vacuum.
Instead, we collaborated with strength coaches across collegiate and professional sports globally – learning firsthand where existing tools fell short and what workflows actually look like on the ground.
The result is a system that mirrors how coaches already think and operate:
- Excel-like builder → Familiar, low barrier to entry
- Flexible programming structure → Coach your way, not a prescribed method
- Individualization at scale → Modify athletes without breaking the system
- Template + library functionality → Save time without sacrificing precision
This balance of familiarity and innovation ensures adoption without friction.
We noticed a massive gap… many coaches were still relying on Excel, word documents, or disconnected tools—and we saw an opportunity to build something stronger and more flexible.

Delivering Workouts – Anytime, Anywhere, Anyway
A major highlight was the flexibility in how training is delivered to athletes.
Coaches can choose the workflow that fits their environment:
- Printed workout cards
- Tablet-based training (including multi-athlete “four-square” view)
- Fully integrated mobile experience
But the real breakthrough is the unified mobile app.
Athletes no longer juggle multiple apps for scheduling, communication, and performance. Everything – from workouts to wellness to logistics – lives in one place, driving higher compliance and athlete engagement.
Turning Training Into Insight
Beyond programming, the platform enables something deeper: turning data into actionable decisions.
By integrating with performance technologies like force plates, GPS, and VBT systems, coaches can:
- Monitor workload and readiness
- Compare planned vs. actual performance
- Track athlete development over time
- Analyze training distribution and movement patterns
This allows teams to shift from reactive adjustments to proactive performance management by using real data to guide decisions.
Our overall goal is to be that athlete 360 – putting all your data, all of your people, and all of your decision making in one central location so you can be proactive.

Breaking Down Silos Across Performance Teams
By connecting strength coaches, athletic trainers, and dietitians within the same system, teams can:
- Align on athlete workloads
- Coordinate return-to-play protocols
- Anticipate high/low training days
- Reduce redundant communication
The result is a more synchronized high-performance model, where everyone operates with the same visibility.
This level of visibility and alignment was a key factor in the University of Kentucky’s decision to adopt Teamworks S&C.
What’s on the Roadmap
Teamworks S&C is built with continuous innovation in mind – driven by ongoing feedback from the experts using it every day.
Two areas highlighted in the webinar point to where things are headed:
- Flex mode, allowing athletes to move dynamically through their workouts without rigid schedules
- Expanded KPI-based programming, enabling coaches to prescribe training based on custom performance benchmarks and beyond traditional maxes
And that’s just the start.
As the platform continues to evolve, the focus remains the same: giving coaches the best product to make stronger athletes.
Let’s Stay Connected
This webinar made one thing clear: the future of strength & conditioning isn’t just about better programming products – it’s about connected systems that turn training into stronger performance outcomes.
