We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our tactical team with two new additions to our military segment. As we continue to enhance our capabilities in serving the military community, we are excited to introduce Adam and Sarah, who bring additional expertise and dedication to our mission.
Adam, a former world-ranked discus thrower at the University of Arizona, transitioned his expertise to create impactful Human Performance Training Centers and Programs for US Special Operations Command Units and their families in Germany as a Human Performance Advisor and Certified Strength Coach. Meanwhile, Sarah’s experience as a certified Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator and Human Performance Program Manager has equipped her to understand and anticipate the needs of the admin users as they integrate Teamworks into their everyday day and encourage buy-in and engagement throughout their teams; both individuals join our mission to empower military excellence and support the unique needs of our military community.
Exceptionalism in the Everyday
Adam and Sarah emphasize the importance of tailored solutions that address the specific needs of dynamic and high-stake environments. Adam explains, “Within tactical, personnel bandwidth is almost always limited. Regardless of the sector, first responders, soldiers, and operators are always asked to go above and beyond while maintaining required training and developing briefings, all while they serve our country. I believe our products can open up some bandwidth and free up that pressure so soldiers and first responders can spend more time with their families and improve effectiveness within the job.”
Completing the small tasks well often adds up, and our newest teammates understand that the military is no different. With the help of Teamworks in this space, the opportunity to create new workflows for stakeholders throughout the organization is endless.
It’s Not One Size Fits All
For nearly 20 years, Teamworks has supported elite sports organizations worldwide. In this time, we’ve solved problems for elite athletes and staff, collaborated with those we seek to serve, and continued innovating our product suite. As we expand our offering in the military community, we will continue to take what we’ve learned from our two decades of expertise in performance technology to allow military bodies to empower service members coming through their ranks, whether at recruitment, training, active duty, or exiting service.
Adam recognized the unique approach Teamworks uses to engage with military bodies, “The customized version of Smartabase, made for SOCOM specifically, is a much different look than the commercial version, but meets the rigorous security frameworks within the Impact Level (IL) requirements. Learning how the Teamworks staff has grown to meet the continued demands of the SOCOM contract is impressive.”
The Notemeal application is a game-changer for Performance Dietitians. For Sarah, the cross-pollination between Notemeal and Hub enables programs to “drive engagement, scale their human performance teams, and empower service members to have ease of access to the resources they need to optimize their readiness.”
Within Special Operations, specifically the US Army Special Forces, they discuss the importance of “force- multipliers.” The Notemeal application does that, enabling dietitians to 10x their access to provide service members and operators with customized meal plans while sharing real-time feedback. “Solutions that use cutting-edge technology to scale humans are the key to unlocking true ROI, and Notemeal is a perfect example of how to maximize the investment your organization has made in its program and people,” said Sarah. “Programs that keep your people at the center of it all both the practitioner and the end user- will be the programs that see tangible positive outcomes in engagement, readiness, and more.”
Evolving in the Military Space
As we continue to grow in this space, Adam hopes that he can “connect with old and new colleagues within the Tactical environment worldwide and foster an open dialogue of the challenges and successes they have experienced as we work to develop an operating system to help the soldier throughout their career, from recruiting through the retirement process. My passion is to help improve the work environment, free up bandwidth, and protect the men and women that protect us.”
