From managing compliance to enhancing student-athlete experiences, these individuals leverage their backgrounds to help schools implement technology that streamlines operations and drives success. Their collective experience and dedication make them invaluable partners for athletic departments looking to optimize efficiency and support their student-athletes in achieving excellence on and off the field.

Meet The Team

Zach Watson, Territory Manager: a University of Virginia graduate and former wrestler, brings past athletic experience and tenure in technology to his role as Manager of Sales for Division II and Division III at Teamworks. Before Teamworks, Zach was the Director of Sales at ARMS (now known as Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting). In his current role, Zach is inspired daily by the hardworking, down-to-earth people in Division II and Division III who are dedicated to helping student-athletes succeed on and off the field. He loves working with this group, finding their commitment both motivating and rewarding. As a Chattanoogan native, Zach developed a love for the outdoors, raising honeybees with his dad and later rock climbing the back of Half Dome in Yosemite.

Miles Gallagher, Senior Business Development Executive: has a deep connection to Division II athletics. He played baseball at Millersville and received both undergraduate and graduate degrees. His career includes significant leadership roles at his alma mater, where he served as the Director of Athletics for eight years and as Associate Director of Athletics for three years. In his current role, Miles leverages his background as a former Division II student-athlete, coach, and athletic administrator to consult with and support athletic departments and coaches. He understands firsthand the unique challenges these programs face and is dedicated to helping them implement technology that can make a meaningful difference. His deep connection to Division II athletics drives his commitment to ensuring that these institutions have the tools they need to succeed.

Jessica Huntley, Senior Business Development Executive: a former Division III basketball player, coach, and administrator, brings a deep-rooted passion for collegiate athletics to her role as Senior Business Development Executive at Teamworks. With degrees from York College of PA and Boston College, Jess has held positions at Harvard, the GNAC, Bay Path University, the ECAC, and as Commissioner of the Atlantic East Conference. Her experience spans every level of Division III athletics, making her uniquely equipped to build and grow relationships in Division II & Division III and let them know about the great products at Teamworks. Fun fact: She helped launch the first NCAA conference to add women’s flag football as a varsity sport.

Kay Dillon, Territory Lead: a former competitive figure skater while she attended Boston College, brings her connection to college athletics to her role as Territory Lead for Division II at Teamworks. With a background that includes an internship at BC and experience with the Carolina Hurricanes, Kay has spent the last two years working closely with hundreds of coaches across Division I, II, III, and NAIA, gaining a profound understanding of how technology impacts daily operations for coaches and student-athletes. In her current role, Kay helps athletic departments strategically use technology to enhance the student-athlete and staff experience. She finds it rewarding to work with administrators and coaches who wear many hats, helping them streamline their workload so they can focus on what they love—spending time with student-athletes. Fun fact: Kay is named after the legendary Coach K (aka Krzyzewski), reflecting her lifelong connection to college sports.

Blake Barnett, Territory Lead: brings a unique perspective to his role in the Division III space at Teamworks. With a football career that took him from the University of Alabama to Arizona State (where he earned his bachelor’s) and the University of South Florida (where he earned his master’s), Blake understands the demands on student-athletes. In his current role, Blake works with administrators to enhance the quality of life for student-athletes and coaches through technology. Having used Teamworks products himself while balancing academics, athletics, and family life, he is passionate about the impact these tools can have. Blake loves working in Division III, where the commitment to improving student-athlete experiences and fostering community engagement is unmatched.

Chase Meyer, Account Executive: a University of Colorado Boulder graduate on the rugby team with a master’s from Northern Illinois University, brings close to a decade of experience in Compliance to the Teamworks sales team. Chase has held positions as a Graduate Assistant at Northern Illinois University, in Compliance at the University of Washington, and as Associate AD of Compliance at the University of Colorado. In his current role, Chase is focused on helping Division II and Division III partners realize that Teamworks is not just for Division I schools and showing how technology can empower their institutions. He believes that technology is the greatest equalizer in collegiate sports. Chase is particularly passionate about the strong focus on academics, the student-athlete experience, and the hardworking, talented individuals in Division II and Division III.

Ali Fahey, Account Executive: a Williams College alumna with a Master of Education from the University of Washington, brings a background of experience as an assistant coach, ticket coordinator, AD of career services, AD for external relations, and Assistant AD for business operations. A former softball player, Ali’s career includes key positions at Dartmouth College, the University of Notre Dame, Claremont-McKenna College, and Trinity College (CT), where she served in various athletic and administrative roles. In her current role, Ali provides the Division II and Division III collegiate market with Teamworks’ best-in-class offerings, helping to optimize efficiency and productivity in service to the student-athlete experience. She is particularly passionate about how technology can transform operations for those in Division II and Division III, who are often pulled in many directions. Ali finds it rewarding to see these tools free up energy for more impactful areas that can’t be solved by technology alone. Fun fact: Ali is a ski bum at heart, having grown up in the mountains and taught snowboarding during college. If she won the lottery, you’d likely find her in the mountains, never to return.

Jake May, Customer Success Manager: who attended Pitt Community College and the University of Pittsburgh, brings a deep understanding of collegiate athletics to his role as Customer Success Manager at Teamworks. A former baseball player at Pitt Community College, Jake later became a Student Manager for the University of Pittsburgh Baseball team from 2015-2017, where he gained hands-on experience using tools like Teamworks’ Hub. In his current role, Jake is dedicated to helping schools implement Teamworks, build efficient processes, and strategize to maximize the value they get from the platform. His passion for building relationships with customers and helping them achieve their goals is matched by his excitement for how much Teamworks has invested in the Division II and Division III space and how rapidly the team has grown. As the longest-tenured Division II/Division III teammate at Teamworks, Jake’s experience and enthusiasm for the platform make him a valuable resource for institutions looking to streamline their operations and enhance the student-athlete experience.

Thomas Stallings, Customer Success Manager: a Virginia Military Institute graduate and former baseball player, brings a wealth of experience to his role as Customer Success Manager for Division II and Division III at Teamworks. After a successful collegiate baseball career at VMI from 2011-2015, Thomas transitioned into coaching, first serving as an Assistant Baseball Coach at VMI and then as an Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Charleston (WV). During his time at the University of Charleston, Thomas wore many hats—literally and figuratively. While coaching full-time, he was also a graduate student and took on additional roles as a play-by-play commentator for football, men’s volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball games. This multifaceted experience gave him a deep understanding of the demands placed on Division II coaches and staff, who often have to juggle multiple responsibilities. In his current role at Teamworks, Thomas leverages this firsthand experience to manage Division II and Division III customers, ensuring that they fully utilize the Teamworks platform to enhance their operations. He understands the critical need for technology at this level, where creativity and resourcefulness are key to delivering an exceptional student-athlete experience.

Jon Rutter, Customer Success Manager: a former soccer player at Erskine College and Anderson University, brings a wealth of experience to his role as Customer Success Manager at Teamworks. Having served as an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach and later as Assistant AD for Compliance at Anderson University, Jon understands the unique challenges faced by administrators, coaches, and student-athletes at the Division II level. In his current role, Jon focuses on effective communication and building lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they have all the resources needed to fully leverage Teamworks products. His ability to relate to the day-to-day realities of Division II athletics—from being a student-athlete to a coach and an administrator—enables him to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those he serves.
