La Salle University Finds Department-Wide Alignment with Hub

La Salle University has spent the past several years building out a Teamworks ecosystem piece by piece, adding Influencer for NIL and content, and Compliance + Recruiting for the department's day-to-day compliance operations.
Now the Explorers are completing that picture. La Salle Athletics has added Teamworks Hub department-wide, giving every team, coach, staff member, and student-athlete a shared home base for scheduling, messaging, and information sharing. Alongside Hub, La Salle is also bringing on Teamworks Wallet, extending that same connectivity to how student-athletes and coaches manage payments.
Department-Wide Alignment
For Jarett Gerald, Vice President of Athletics & Recreation and Director of Athletics, bringing every team's information into one real-time view was central to what Hub could offer the department.
“The biggest impact will be allowing everyone to be on the same page,” said Gerald. “Many of our teams are on different messaging and scheduling software, and implementing Hub will allow everyone in the department to see real-time information about how various teams are functioning.”
Rolling Hub out across every team gives La Salle a single, real-time view of the department, with coaches, staff, and student-athletes all working from one system the department already relies on.
How Hub Connects the Ecosystem
Hub will sit at the center of La Salle's Teamworks ecosystem, built to share data with the products already in place. Take Compliance + Recruiting, for example. When a recruit signs with La Salle, that prospect is promoted from Compliance + Recruiting into a student-athlete profile, automatically created in Hub, so the onboarding process runs without duplicate data entry. From there, everyday compliance work, like start-of-season forms and scholarship renewals, shows up as tasks inside the same Teamworks app student-athletes and staff already use for schedules and messages.
Wallet, the platform's payments layer, is what ties Hub and Influencer together. Non-rev share payment requests, including per diem, can now be initiated directly from the Travel Party page inside Hub, giving staff visibility into a student-athlete's Wallet account and payment approval status before a trip ever departs. On the Influencer side, NIL payments tied to a finalized deal flow directly into a student-athlete's Wallet account for immediate access with zero platform fees. For Gerald, that connectivity is exactly the point of bringing everything into one ecosystem.
“It streamlines how we can operate. Teamworks can be the one stop shop for teams and staff, so everyone knows where to look when they need vital information,” said Gerald.
That connectivity extends directly to how coaches support their teams on the road.
“We are always looking to make things easier on coaches and student-athletes and the ability to utilize Teamworks Wallet for per diem and vacation-period expenses was a great plus during our discussion about adding Hub,” Gerald added. “It will allow our coaches to have everything they need to support their students in one place.”
Between Hub, Influencer, and Wallet, coaches now have visibility into a student-athlete's schedule, NIL activity, and payment status without ever leaving the same platform.
Proof from Men's Basketball
La Salle didn't have to guess at Hub's impact before committing to it department-wide. Men's Basketball had already been running on Hub since 2025, and its experience became the case study that gave the rest of the department confidence to expand.
“Men's Basketball, along with several other coaches, have been vocal advocates for adopting Hub department-wide and seeing how they can utilize the functionality, and the ease of use for their student-athletes made it an easy decision to expand.” said Taylor Hess, Associate Athletic Director/Compliance and Student-Athlete Success.
That advocacy reflected something coaches across the department recognized on their own: a platform that keeps their teams aligned and organized is a real asset in supporting their competitive goals, which made expanding Hub an easy call.
Hub's rollout isn't just about operations for coaches and staff. Pulse, Hub's anonymous survey feature, gives La Salle a direct, low-friction way to hear from student-athletes about their experience, something Hess flagged as a key factor in the decision to go department-wide.
“This was an important part of the decision, as anonymous surveys are an essential part of receiving feedback from student-athletes about how we can improve their experience.” said Hess.
Feedback that's honest because it's anonymous gives La Salle's staff a clearer picture of what's actually working across its programs, and where it isn't.
With Hub now connected to Influencer and Compliance + Recruiting, La Salle has one ecosystem instead of three separate systems. Men's Basketball helped prove it works. Now every team, coach, and student-athlete at La Salle has access to it.
