For FC Madras, building one of India’s most forward-thinking football academies required more than talent development, it demanded operational excellence. In a landscape where many clubs still rely on WhatsApp threads and scattered PDFs, FC Madras turned to Teamworks Hub and AMS to create the professional, unified workflows needed to support their ambitious vision.
“We’ve always looked for a system that brings in consistency and accountability,” said Aadhithya Chakravarthy, Head of Football Operations. “Teamworks helps us bring players and staff from every department onto one unified platform, and it’s helped us measure our success and growth.”
A Unified Platform That Staff Embraced Immediately
While FC Madras adapted quickly to Teamworks, the transition wasn’t instant. As with any new system, there was some initial apprehension, but a clear vision and roadmap for success helped guide the change. Over time, Teamworks Hub shifted staff away from siloed ways of working and toward a more unified, streamlined approach, bringing clarity and structure to day-to-day operations across the academy.
One of the most immediate transformations came from the centralised calendar in Hub. FC Madras manages multiple departments, three pitches, and programming that spans player development, education, medical care, and revenue-generating initiatives. With Hub, the entire organisation can schedule, plan, and communicate from one place, ensuring every team is aligned on field usage, maintenance windows, campus events, and long-term programming.
“The calendar on Teamworks Hub is a massive addition to our operations because every department is informed about what’s happening at the academy,” Aadhithya explained. “It allows us to schedule our entire year together in one place.”

Moving away from WhatsApp also created a clear separation between personal and professional communication. Instead of important updates being lost in personal threads, Hub gives FC Madras a dedicated operational space where staff can rely on message history, tasks, and forms without distraction. The shift strengthened accountability and created a more focused working environment.
Data-Driven Player Development
While Hub improved workflow and communication, AMS elevated FC Madras’ approach to player development. By consolidating information from medical, performance, wellness, psychological, and technical sources, AMS brings the full picture of each athlete into one platform. Coaches and staff can study data holistically, track trends, identify risks earlier, and make informed decisions that support a player’s growth, all with only a couple of clicks.
“AMS gives us the opportunity to study all our data together and see how to optimise a player’s performance,” said Aadhithya.

Together, Teamworks Hub and AMS have enabled FC Madras to operate at the global standard they aspire to. With a unified digital ecosystem driving efficiency off the pitch and insight on it, FC Madras now stands alongside top European and UK academies using Teamworks to elevate operations and player development, setting a new benchmark for football operations in India.
