The PacWest Conference has announced a five-year, conference-wide partnership with Teamworks, aligning all PacWest member institutions on Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting beginning in 2026. With this agreement, the PacWest becomes the eighth Division II conference to adopt Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting on a conference-wide basis.
Through the partnership, the PacWest will standardize compliance and recruiting operations across the conference, providing institutions with a centralized platform that improves communication, efficiency, and collaboration—while delivering meaningful cost savings during a critical time for Division II athletics.
The partnership reflects the PacWest’s commitment to supporting its member institutions with essential, best-in-class technology while delivering meaningful cost savings at a critical time for Division II athletics.
“As a conference, one of our core responsibilities is to identify ways to reduce costs while still providing the highest level of service for our institutions,” said Brad Jones, Commissioner of the PacWest Conference. “This partnership allows us to do both—delivering top-tier compliance and recruiting tools while creating long-term value for our membership.”
Strengthening Conference-Wide Alignment Through Shared Technology
With institutions varying in size, resources, and operational structure, maintaining consistency across operational processes can be challenging. By aligning all PacWest members on Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting, the conference is establishing a shared foundation that ensures clarity, continuity, and consistency across athletic departments.
“One of the biggest challenges in compliance and recruiting is collaboration—making sure information is clearly disseminated, consistently updated, and accessible to everyone who needs it,” Jones said. “Teamworks enables that in a concise and efficient way, bringing everyone across an athletic department onto the same page.”
This unified approach supports collaboration not only within athletics but also with key campus partners such as admissions, financial aid, and academic services.
“Having a one-stop system that everyone is familiar with makes a real difference,” Jones added. “It saves time, reduces complexity, and allows coaches and administrators to focus on what matters most, supporting student-athletes.”
A Long-Term Partnership Focused on Value and Innovation
As the PacWest evaluated long-term technology partners, quality, sustainability, and collaboration were central to the decision-making process. The five-year agreement reflects a shared commitment to innovation, efficiency, and long-term success.
“We want to align with the best partners available—organizations that are willing to work with us and truly understand the needs of Division II athletics,” said Jones. “Teamworks stood out not only for the strength of their platform, but for their willingness to collaborate with us in a way that benefits the entire conference.”
Positioning the PacWest for the Future
Securing a conference-wide Compliance + Recruiting partnership marks an important step in the PacWest’s broader vision for the future. The agreement reinforces the conference’s openness to innovation and its commitment to finding new ways to enhance services, improve efficiency, and support its membership.
“This partnership signals our willingness to think strategically and explore new ways to serve our institutions,” Jones said. “We’re always looking for opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and bring solutions to our members that help them operate more effectively.”
