At Teamworks, we believe in empowering those who empower athletes. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own—Jessica Huntley, Senior Business Development Executive—as the inaugural recipient of the 2025 BSN SPORTS Innovator of the Year Award. As the first person to receive this prestigious honor, Jessica sets the standard for what it means to lead with vision, courage, and lasting impact in the sports industry.

This award recognizes leaders who aren’t just achieving results, but redefining what’s possible. Jessica embodies every facet of this distinction: she is a boundary-breaker, a catalyst for change, and a relentless advocate for progress in collegiate athletics.
A Trailblazer in Every Sense
Over the past year, Jessica has continued to challenge conventional thinking in sports leadership, helping programs reimagine how they serve student-athletes and support staff. She brings decades of experience across every level of collegiate athletics—commissioner, coach, administrator—and now channels that insight into helping athletic departments adopt innovative solutions through the Teamworks Operating System for Sports™.
Before joining Teamworks, Huntley served as the founding Commissioner of the Atlantic East Conference, a Division III league she was instrumental in launching in 2018. During her tenure, she helped build the conference from the ground up—guiding its strategic vision, establishing competitive excellence, and championing inclusive innovation. Under her leadership, the conference celebrated a national championship in men’s lacrosse and became the first NCAA conference to sponsor women’s flag football as a varsity sport—a landmark achievement in advancing opportunities for women in athletics.

“I’m incredibly honored to receive the BSN SPORTS Innovator of the Year Award. Innovation, to me, isn’t just about new ideas—it’s about challenging the status quo to create lasting, meaningful change. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside leaders and institutions who share that vision, and I’m grateful to be part of a company like Teamworks that empowers all of us to think boldly and lead with purpose.”
— Jessica Huntley, Senior Business Development Executive, Teamworks
Vision, Courage, and Lasting Impact
What sets Jessica apart is not just her vision, but her courage. She consistently takes calculated risks to move the industry forward—whether that means introducing new models of leadership, advocating for women in sports, or championing more equitable access to opportunity. The impact of her work isn’t just felt in the programs she partners with—it ripples across the industry.
At Teamworks, we’ve seen firsthand how Jessica’s leadership inspires change. She helps our partners break down silos, streamline operations, and focus on what matters most: empowering their people. And she does it all with humility, empathy, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of sport.
Honoring a Leader Who Leads with Purpose
The BSN SPORTS Innovator of the Year Award celebrates more than success—it honors those who shape the future of sports through courage, creativity, and conviction. Jessica Huntley is the very definition of that standard. Her influence will be felt for years to come.
