The off-season can be a huge transition phase for athletes and staff. With new athletes joining the squad, friendly matches, and the pressure to maintain a consistent level of preparation throughout the off-season, it can be challenging to streamline all administrative and operational efforts needed to maintain focus for the coming season. More than ever, teams across the world are recognising Teamworks Hub as a solution for ensuring success on and off the pitch. 

As the first Teamworks deal in the Scottish Premier League, Rangers FC shows its commitment to supporting its players. We caught up with Ben Mitchell, Academy Operations Executive, in a Q&A interview to learn the significance of using one integrated solution.

Q&A with Ben Mitchell

Q: What was the original problem you were trying to solve with Teamworks Hub and what were you doing to try to address it before?

As our academy programme continues to grow, it is important for us to ensure that there is a real clarity of scheduling and communication across all departments, making sure everyone, including staff, players and parents, has access to the most up-to-date information. 


Q: Why did you choose to go with Hub?

With Hub, we are able to simplify workflows across departments and bring everything under one platform, making it easy for staff to store and access information from one source. In the fast-paced environment in which we work, it’s important for us to have the ability to make changes and updates, without the need for multiple messages and updates.


Q: What has your experience been so far working with Teamworks staff?

The staff at Teamworks have been excellent. They have been a great help during the onboarding process, making the staff training for each department relevant to the area in which they work. Their responses to questions are quick and efficient.  


Q: What are you most excited about?

We’re looking forward to continuing to work with Teamworks, and driving the use of the platform across all departments to ensure that the clarity and consistency of our communication is the best that it can be.
